Bolivia Defeats T&T 5-0
Trinidad and Tobago Senior Men’s team were comprehensively beaten this evening by Bolivia in Sucre. At the end of the first half, Trinidad and Tobago were trailing by 2-0, and luckily so, as the Bolivians missed several chances coupled with the occasional heroics from goalkeeper Adrian Foncette. It was glaringly obvious that the altitude coupled with inactivity limited the Warriors’ play on the field.
The second half showing was offensively better for T&T and they intermittently strung passes together to enjoy more possession than they did in the first half. However, no player in red could find the back of the net and the Bolivians went on to score three unanswered second half goals.
T&T will now continue its preparations for the upcoming Concacaf Nations League.
