D’Abreau finishes second in Heat 2 at World Juniors

Cyclist Ryan D’Abreau finished second in heat two of the men’s Keirin earlier this morning in Egypt. Only the winner of each heat The winners of each heat qualified for the semi-final while the others had a second chance of a semi-final berth via the Repechage.

The Arima Wheelers rider managed to finish third in repechage 2 and did not advance to the next round as only the winners of the repechage advanced to the semi-final.

He will be in action again tomorrow morning in the men’s sprint.
