Lendore grabs bronze in fiery 400m final in Zurich

T&T's lone quarter-miler and lone athlete performing at the 2021 Zurich Diamond League, Deon Lendore, has picked up the bronze medal in the men's 400m final. Running out of lane 6 and competing against a quality field, Lendore stopped the clocked in 44.81 seconds to cross the finishline third. Ahead of Lendore was Tokyo's 4x400m gold medalist Michael Cherry and 400m men's bronze medalist Kirani James who ran times of 44.41 and 44.42 resepctively to pick up the top two spots on the podium.
