Ruben wins Gold at IFMA Virtual Championship

Arianna Ruben is the 2021 International Federation of Muaythai Associations’ Virtual MaxFit champion. Fifteen-year-old Arianna Ruben has picked up T&T’s first medal at the 2021 IFMA Virtual Championships and it was a beautiful gold. Making it to the final, Ruben’s score of 90 was more than enough to defeat Czech Republic’s Kadlecova’s score of 81. When Arianna spoke to T&T Sport Diary a couple of weeks ago, her main goal was to upgrade her silver to gold and after tireless preparation, she did just that! Ruben has created history as this is the first time that the Trinidad and Tobago's National Anthem will be played at an international Muaythai event.
