T&T Falls Short to Canada

Trinidad and Tobago's Volleyball senior men's team has lost its second match of the 2021 NORCECA Men's Continental Championship against Canada on Thursday afternoon. Coming off a loss against Mexico last night, Trinidad and Tobago had an improved showing this afternoon, statistically at least, but still lost 3-0 (25-22, 25-18 & 25-14). This tournament hosts eight teams which are split into two groups of four, Pool A and B, with Trinidad and Tobago being in Pool A.

Head coach Gideon Dickson and company will now look forward to their last group stage game tomorrow against Puerto Rico (2pm TT time). The top placed teams at the end of the pool play will secure tickets to the semi-final phase while teams placed in second and third will meet in the quarter-finals with the winners advancing to the medal round play.The losers in the quarter-finals will play for the 5-to-8 positions.
