T&T Volleyballers Jump Into NORCECA Action Tonight!
The national senior men’s volleyball team will open their 2021 NORCECA Men‘s Continental Championship account tonight when they face off against Mexico at 9pm TT time. The last two times the pair met, which was at the World: PanAmerican Cup (2019) and CAC Games (2014), Mexico was victorious 3-0 on both occasions.
T&T is grouped in Pool A alongside Mexico, Canada and Puerto Rico. The top placed teams at the end of the pool play will secure tickets to the semi-final phase while teams placed second and third will meet in the quarterfinals with the winners advancing to the medal round play. The losers in the quarterfinals will play for the 5-to-8 positions. The first and second placed finishers advance to the 2022 FIVB World Championship in Russia.
