T&T Women Winless in AmeriCup 3v3

On Saturday the Trinidad and Tobago’s women 3v3 basketball team took center stage at the AmeriCup 3v3 Tournament in Miami in Pool B action. T&T first played USA in the three-team round robin and were outwitted 22-2. The ladies had an improved showing against Argentina in their second and final game but it was not enough to get the first-timers into the quarterfinals as they also lost that one 15-6. This new format of the game is definitely an interesting one and as the numbers in Trinidad and Tobago continue to grow, hopefully so too does our rankings.
