Trinidad and Tobago Senior Women's Team Book Friendly vs Panama
Today the Trinidad and Tobago Football Association has confirmed that the senior national women's team has booked two international friendlies later this month against Panama. The two closed door friendlies will take place at the Ato Boldon Stadium on October 21st and 25th. These games will serve as preparation for the upcoming Concacaf W. Qualifiers which is now scheduled for the February Window. Thursday's friendly versus Panama will be the first time the women have stepped onto the football pitch since the Olympic Qualifiers vs St. Kitts and Nevis in 2019. This game is also the first international football game of any kind to be hosted in Trinidad and Tobago since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. In the meantime though, the ladies are also expected to find a replacement for their head coach after the sudden departure of James Thomas last week.
